When choosing pieces to go with a Motorcross leather jacket, choose items that would in a way be opposite of what a motorcyle jacket is all about, like this ruffled top or a striking red pant. It gives the ensemble a softer look and makes it a lot more feminine instead of overly hardcore. Unless that's what your going for.
Because "little black dresses" are mostly very simple, choose over the top accessorize that will enhance the overall depth of the dress. Statement necklaces or over the top earrings normally come into play, unless the dress has plenty of detailing on its own. When attending a formal dinner where your neckline and face are the primary points of interest, make it interesting and spicy. If your choosing a statement necklace, make sure the shoes don't override the necklace. Choose one focal point and stick with it to prevent being cluttered or 'too much.'
Like most bags, there are a time and a place for them. Chain handle bags are for more laid back environments like shopping or running errands, and not necessarily for formal parties. In this case, your chain handle bag should go hand in hand with the type of shoes your wearing. Do not pair these with strappy formal shoes. Pair them with a rider boot, or ankle bootie for casual yet stylish look.
Tuxedo Jackets are the best thing since kool-aid in my book. They give women more sense of power and femininity that other pieces can't. For casual occasions, pair your tuxedo dress with an equally stunning pair of pants (make sure they aren't an exact match of the jacket unless its a formal gathering like Rihanna and her Dolce and Gabbana suit). The tuxedo jacket has the same affect as a motorcross jacket giving off a masculine feel, so chose girly yet simple accessories such as an oversized bangle or giant stud earrings. Scarfs can also work nicely depending on the jacket.
Peacoats are one of my favorite style of jackets. Because these jackets give off a military vibe, pair your peacoat with an amazing boot to even the look from head to toe. Oversized earrings in this case are unnecessary, however a fat bangle would put a nice touch to the look.
Trench coats are a definite fashion staple that everyone should have at least one of in their closet. It has such a classic vibe to it, and with the right trench coat, it can make the ultimate fashion statement all on its own. Sassy bags such as handle print bags or oversized arm bags go great with trench coats. Accessorize strongly with a simple yet VA VOOM piece like this red Dior watch pictured. Boots or booties are always necessary.
I haven't always been a fan of the denim jacket, but when done correctly can leave a significant impression on you. When I think of denim jacket, I think of pretty dresses you can wear underneath them, and heels that aren't too simple and aren't too way over the top. Booties of course always work well with denim jackets and so will a flashy bag.
Riding boots are my favorite classic. They are my favorite because they are so comfy, but so damn sexy and fashionable at the same time. A lot of the times that I wear my riding boots, I always tend to choose a top or cover up that has like simple yet chic detailing. The jacket that you choose to wear with these boots is also important. Choose one with great structure to compliment whats going on with the boots.
Last but not least, the white shirt! I love love love love this look! I always die when I read a fashion blog and that blogger has on a white long sleeve shirt, light colored skinny blue jeans, and some amazing flats, or amazing heals. UGH I just die. They offer such a simple look, but at the same time, when done right this plain white shirt can give a girl a sexy and confident vibe to her. Pair your white shirt with a strong but not too cluttered necklace, or a great pair of hoop style earrings. Black shorts always make this ensemble fun and if your looking for a touch of bad girl, wear some black leather gloves and call it a day.
happy styling my loves!
