Last weekend I was hired to be a photographer for an old friend's mom's surprise birthday party. I really don't know why but theres nothing I love more than a strong black family. I just love the strength, and their morals and values they hold as a family, and I would be so blessed for my own family to be like that. They care so much for each other. Here's a few shots.

Some crazy things have been happening in this world lately, and I just want to stress to everyone who has this "everyone for themselves" mentality, is that the point of human nature is to survive and protect whats ours. This world is ours. We need to stop taking life for granted. It goes said all the time that life's too short so live it up, but how many of us actually do that? Keep the company you keep close, and savor every second of your life.

it's been a while
