filipino deliciousness

my mother and i took the opportunity to get some quality time in yesterday. we had lunch at this filipino restaurant [which i forgot the name of], and the food was soooooo good i just needed to post about it. it's not often that i get to eat some authentic filipino food because my mom doesn't cook ever and i really don't know how to make any of it. on that note, i want to open up my photographic market here in vegas and go into a food picture taking project. it feels like there are billions of places to get good food out here, and i want to document them all! enjoy!

accept me. or move on.

as you can see i got a new huge tattoo on my left upper arm. it's a collage of some of the most important things in my life such as my son when he was a baby, canon camera, celtic symbol for sisters, an anime of twin girls symbolizing gemini, a big treble clef, and both of my parents names. my parents weren't so happy about it.

whatever it is in life that you want to be doing, do it. don't let anyone or anything stop you, because in the end all you're going to have is yourself. change comes eventually, and those who prosper through the most horrible times are the ones that will reap the benefits of life. everyone has their own struggles, but not everyone has the guts to recognize what they are and fight them. there are many things in life that we can't control, but the one thing we can control is our attitude. embrace the ones you love and love them whole heartedly, because tomorrow is not promised. help those in need because you're in return helping yourself. and most of all, don't deny anyone based on preconceived notions, because you may be missing out on some important and special people.

greatest gift part II

one of the most fulfilling things about being a photographer is when you're able to retain clients to the point where you can kind of be with them to capture memories of their lives and have a small part in documenting. this is why i do what i do. and i hope my followers can see why.
