First of all that is complete BULLSHIT. As a curvy woman I am extremely offended by this entire situation. Do they mean to tell us that Victoria Secret models at a size 0 can flaunt their almost naked bodies on TV but the bustier, curvier, sexier woman at a size 14 can't? What kind of a message are these people giving to woman, teenagers, and children in this country?
I just want to tell everyone out there, big, small, tall, short that your size DOES NOT determine whether you are sexy or good looking. What makes a person SEXY or HANDSOME or GORGEOUS is their confidence, the confidence to embrace who you are inside and out and be proud to show others that. For people that don't know, the average size of women in the USA is a size 14. For woman out there that are bigger than a size 6 (like myself), embrace the fact that you have more to share. Find the look that's best suiting and appropriate for you, and that will determine your level of appearance or sexiness. A curvier woman can be just as sexy as one thats a size 2 if not MORE.
These people at the TV stations that have this kind of power should be portraying a more positive message other than a discriminatory one. It's seriously insane at the kind of perception they try to implant into people's minds. Why wouldn't you want to target an audience where more people can relate instead of envy? Who is anyone to judge what isn't beautiful? Just sayin...
Enough with the politics, here's a few shots of me from last Saturday from my last night in Toronto. We went fishing off the Toronto Island and to my surprise it just ended up getting colder and colder. On the one day I decide to wear a skirt the whole city just freezes up! Whatever I still looked good so I guess it doesn't matter. I had an amazing time, and I am so grateful that I have a man who is willing to show me the world. Stay tuned for my Toronto Street Style post.
